I know we may be over since she has such a problem with my killing... okay I admit that fox thing was an accident, but I'm a saiyan warrior. Killing is what we do... but Uncle Goku has been saying That I shouldn't just blast those that threaten Cass, let her fight her own fights, and only kill when as a last resort to save people.
Dad just answered "Bah!" So I have no idea what his idea on it is but I guess I don't want regular people afraid of me like Wolverine though. Oh well that's not my main concern that is Cassandra herself.
Whoever twisted reality around made her a criminal master mind. Even if we end up broken up I know she'd never be happy like that. And when it comes down to it I want her to be happy rather we're together or not.
So I ignore Inertia’s babbling after he ran around the planet in seconds, and already reported to the Question. “How come even in a rebooted Universe Vella is still with Todd? Albeit a wimpier Todd but still."
I roll my eyes. "Thad, Sun girl is perfect for you she’s from the same time you, are she's psychotic. She makes out with you in alleys. That and it's really freaking creepy when you talk about my sister."
He mumbles while I finally find Cass' ki and fly on ahead. “Thad if I need help I'll call but I doubt I will." I fly to a building with a huge penthouse, again with the Penthouses... I guess Cass doesn't go for the cliché warehouses.
I float outside when I'm jumped by half animal men. Idiots I'd just be scratched a bit form the hundred story fall, they'd be street pizza. I toss them back into the window they jump out of.
That Shredder guy the only one besides Cass that made it from form the fight we had without being arrested, attacked.
“You're that boy. I saw how you looked; at the daughter of Cain I'll let you know she will be my bride leave now!"
I threw up in my mouth a little. “Look guy you're like what forty? You’re a disturbed man."
"I am not forty!" he complains Tries swiping my head off with those wolverine rip-off claws. II back hand him away like a bug, a group of Foot ninjas swarm me I yawn unleash a little Ki knocking them all over the room. Then suddenly I sense a high power level. I turn to see Match? What the Heck?
“You’re not into Cass too are you?" I ask.
"Nope I'm just a Henchman. Dental for all!" You know that explains the yellow costume.
“Heh. One of my hobbies is beating the guy you were cloned from Match. I'll gladly embarrass you too, you Superboy wanna be."
He heat visions me; I put some ki to my hands, and knock the blast away. But then I discover he has a trick Kon doesn’t he turned invisible, and got me with a surprise shot o the jaw, I slam through the wall.
Okay since I now know about it I senses his life energy, and land a hard punch to his gut after , a few super speed rights and lefts I spin kick him thin to the floor, after breaking into a few peoples apartments I grab him toss him throw outside.
"Get ready for oblivion!" I shout. “Big Bang Atta..."
A soft voice interrupts us. “Match, get down here."
It was Cass of course she would know me and Match both have super hearing.
“Mr. Briefs... it seems... our mutual um attraction has brought you here."
I Smile “Yeah you remember me?"
“I only just... met you but I will... um give you the chance... I gave the Shredder... fight me, win... I'm yours.... lose... you serve me."
"Guessing you beat him." I question.
“Three times now. How about you?"
Well seems Cass remembers the Red Sonja movie we watched since that's taken from it. I have so many powers I cold beat her easily problem is I don't want to hurt he... but if I end up being stupid, and losing... well maybe I can get her to remember me if I'm around her.
“Yeah sure let's fight." She takes me to this gym area. She takes off her shirt leaving just a sports bra, trying to distract me huh?
Okay I can play that particular game too.
Then the fight is on I doge shurikens, and her Adamntium gloves. " Hmmm. Maybe Saiyans.. Are great warriors... after all?"
“Fighting’s not the only thing we do well. Okay Supersaiyans anyway most saiyans... aren't really all that great at anything."
She punches through my after image shocked I thought I'd have all the time in the world to hit her with a non lethal ki blast. She somehow senses it coming, and leaps over it. My shock was gives her an opening to hit me with those gloves, while I'm on the ground she throws something in my face.
Great I'm blinded now. but I have five other senses, I can hear her breathing smell what directions she coming from I can feel the vibrations of her foot falls on the floor I can sense her life force... not sure what taste will do oh well
I can hear her make a disappointed noise as I block her kick to my face, the next time she tries to strike me it's with a sword that cuts through my skin. Where is she getting all this Adamantium?
Okay let's even the odds I can feel the sunlight coming in through the windows. I'm going to use a technique Tien created he likes to call Fist of the Sun. I prefer “Solar Flare!"
The light blinds her but she tries to throw Shuriken where she hears me breathe I blast her. I keep hearing her leap over the blasts she can't see my body language she must be sensing changes in the air before the it hits she tries to trick my hearing buy throwing weapons away from her location But I can still sense where she really is. I love ki sense so much better than those crappy scouters the normal saiyans use.
Finally my vision returns, I see her glove coming toward my face great her sights returned too. We both try trade blows back and forth Cass gasps. “Those are my moves!"
"You taught them to me baby you have to remember your brother Tim told you abut me you started teaching me for the Boudakai. You did so because you liked me but I was too dumb to realize it. Come on Cass this has to ring a bell."
Her eyes looked confused like she is remembering it. “When we started dating I'd pick you up every evening after your reading lessons with Raven You started Legacy because Batman was being a jerk..."
She strikes me in the nose with her glove on reflex I turn super saiyan and throw a punch I realize what I'm doing, and stop myself but the wind coming off the blow knocks her back into the wall.
Oh God I didn't want to hurt her “Cass!" I run up to her and pick her up her ki is strong she doesn't have any broken bones her eyes open and she kisses me “you win... My boy. I remember everything."
She kisses me , and well we kind of ...reunited though it's was a bit weird with her ordering to transform looks like someone's been talking to Mirai's wife.
The next morning I wake up, and she's stitch in something into some black leather. She somehow knows I'm awake. "Get dressed." She says simply. As I dos o she asks. “Who else knows?"
"Question and Inertia." I answer.
“Hnh." She answers I really hate it when she imitates Batman. But I guess it's no different than me shouting Bah! “We’ll need more Legacy members... find Justice... and Slobo in... case Barbara is a fake, and not my friend. Whoever did this wanted to tortureme... Making me evil... taking you away having you with Kara. do you know where Tim is? Batman? Nightwing? Stephanie? Gwen? Red Hood, Damien?"
“Dick’s the same. Jason's Robin. Haven't seen Tim, or Gwen. Steph is dating Conner here, man talk about a step-down going from Robin to Super Idiot." I answer.
“Conner’s not so bad... just belongs to Wondergirl. Sooner he realizes ... that the better. Okay can you fly with me ... fast enough so the Villains won't see me? Without um hurting me?" She puts the leather on, and what looks like a cloak on.
“Yeah I can put an energy field around you around you why?" I query.
I'd rather not have to fight ... my way out of here... I'm saving my strength for that did this to us." She gets up, and I see what she sewed onto the leather. A bat symbol on her the chest.
"First we go to Question, and Inertia, find Slobo and Justice...then find out if Barbara is real if so we find a way to keep her walking... Then all of us will stop the one that took our lives... and fix everything."
Wow. She looks determined. Well okay she's always determined. But well... At least we have a plan now.
