Of course Cass says "no".
"Yeah only power houses would get in." Steph groans.
“You’re both in." Cass interrupts. “Now quit fighting."
“We’re not fighting." Steph smiles and lemme guess why Vincent's in hmmm."
“Yeah Spoiler like the only reason you're in is because you are dating her older brother." I smirk. And like saying his name summons him he appears on the big computer screen.
AAAH! Giant ominous Tim Drake head of doom! “Cass why are you you recruiting the same day the Titans are trying to rebuild the ranks?"
Batgirl sighs. “Not recruiting cutting ... down."
“Yes but one of those is Supergirl we can use her." Tim argues.
“You have Conner...." Cass comments.
“Yeah but he just keeps doing a vanishing act lately. Look are you going to have Kara on your team or not?"
“Yes she is!" I hear Kara yell "Wahoo!" Damn this is gonna suck. Me. Cass, and Kara all on the same team ugh.
Robin sighs. "Damn it Cass! I can't believe..."
“Tim you um...Need to um ..."
" What is Cass?" Robin asks.
“Get laid... too stressed." We're all surprised she said that.
Then Steph shouts “I volunteer!"
Robin shakes his head. " Mumbles " They're as bad as Conner." Then the screen goes black.
Cass shrugs and “Where’s X-23?"
“No one's seen her since the vampire fight." Steph gives a worried look.
“Then she's not on the team... though she's already on two... like father.. like daughter."
“How about Jason?"
“No!" We me, and Spoiler both shout.
The Red Hood was apparently spying on us.
" Don't all fall over yourselves with grief about me there hair gel lad, and lamest Robin ever."
"Talking about yourself there Todd?" Stephanie is about to get in his face, but thinks better of it.
" Please I know I rock unlike you miss ‘oh I must destroy half of Gotham to show I love Tim,' Bimbo." his eyes move over to Cassie. “Don’t worry sis I only got into this team thing because Vella promised to do some stuff I've been asking her for. Now that ya got enough members I'm going back to Gotham."
" That brings us to Vella." Cass States.
Steph grunts. " Man what power does Supergirl have that these two twins don't"
“Freeze breathe, x-ray vision... Super Hypnotism." Cass starts off on the list.
“Okay I like Vel, I really do but what does she have that Vince doesn't?"
Cass points at her middle finger. For a second I thought she was flipping the bird until she says “ring."
“Okay you win." Spoiler goes. Then Cass surprises us.
“I... Don't want to lead... an army two more spots open."
“But there are three more applicants." I say.
“One of them will have to go home." She asks Slobo to come in.
" Do you want back in on the team?"
" Well when the whole Cosmic Cube mess started Question called me a fraggin coward or leavin' even though it was ta protect you guys from Lobo ya know what why not I got nothin' better to do. Sure why not?"
She called Iron Lad in but he never showed up she called again. He didn't come again.
" Looks like Wonder Boy will get it. "
Oh Hell no. not Wonder boy. “I’ll go get Anthony." I state.
Man there is no way I wan tto be on a team with anyone associated with Wonderman. That, and Wonder boy didn't seem to do anything in that fight with the vamps.
And On the way to Anthony's room I end up meeting with Wonder Boy.
“Hey man! Am I in or what?"
“I hope not." I tell him straight. “Why do you want on any way?"
He smiles. " Supergirl has nice legs. Maybe if I beat you up I get on the team?"
He then tries to a punch which I block I turn SS4 and lay into him with my strongest punch. I was shocked that not only did I smack him through the wall but I KO him as well and my knuckles barely stung.
Man the beatings I took from Alucard , and Goten have made me much stronger than I was before. I smirk for a little bit as I hear Wonder Doofus crash outside.
After this i find Anthony sulking in his room with about a dozen used beer cans. “Hey dude ya got to sober up you're up to be interviewed." I yell.
“What’s the use? I failed as a leader. “He drunkenly slurs. "
"So? It's not like Iron Man is all that perfect. In fact he usually runs to a bottle. You can show you're better than him by manning up, and confront you're mistakes.
“You’re right! He declares About five seconds before he passes out. Sigh.
I went back to Cass. “Um he’s sick but he wanted the spot so um yeah just put Ironlad in."
She looks at me I know she's reading me she knows I'm hiding something but she sighs an says " Ironlad's in, just tell Wonder Boy he’s out. "
At that moment Trunks screams from down the hall " Which one of you brats punched some dorky kid into my 'Vette?"
Dammit I must have punched him next door to Capsule Corp I'd better hide until Trunks cools off.
