Batgirl: .....

Vincent lies ... dead. After he tried... to kill that fox thing... and Deathstroke... I went out for coffee with some boy. It was nothing um serious. But now looking at Vincent's body I feel guilty. I shouldn't since he also dated... some saiyan girl um a while ago.

Celery? No that wrong Celery was a skrull that pretended to be Goku's sister... Caulera Yes... I think that's it. Why do Saiyans have to have names so had to say?

I forget these thoughts... and look at the thing... dressed like Bruce saying how I'm not good enough to Be Batgirl. How I'm a murderer when he just killed Vince, right after we just got back together.

Now this thing This Cosmic Cube wants me to fight the monster... Justice tries to talk me out of it. “This guy's has powers Cass I’ll take care of this guy. Vincent was lime a brother to me you're not the only one that cared for him. Besides we'll bring him back with the Dragon balls."


I ignore her take out my metal gloves from my belt, and get ready to fight as the Cube said.

The cube um yells. “If any of you Legacy kids get in on this Bat - Troll wins!"



His body language tells me quickly that He’s going to punch I dodge and he takes a shot to the face. I flip over his next few shots... and hit him in his belly.

This gets him mad and he claps the air. I’m knocked into the dirt he grabs my cape, and slams me into the metal walls of the Legacy House. I don't cry out. My Real father taught me to take pain.

I need a few seconds to recover. The monster didn't let me have it. He hit me straight on breaking my body armor, and cracking my ribs.

"HA! I'm not even going to bring you back in the reality I create! Just like I didn't have the third Robin or Spoiler's daughter exist at all. Batman's better off without you."

I roll away from his fist... I can't breathe it hurts to move. I ignore this. “Who are... you are to say who gets to live... and die or not exist?"

“I’m the one with the Cosmic Cube!" he yells. “I’m the one with the power, and you're just trash!"



He tackles me and starts crushing me I head butt him surprising him enough slip out of his grip then I throw three Batarangs." Batarangs? Please." He grabs them out of the air, and they blast out this high pitched sound into his ears.

He falls back, and I throw my fists several times. He falls, crying. “You won don't kill me!"

“I don't kill." I tell him. I start coughing up um blood. Looks like... I’ll see Vincent again sooner than I think. The Cube talks. “That was mildly amusing. Well First I'll heal you..."

"No!" State but it's was too late I was back to normal then the Universe was back to normal. Everyone’s costumes went um back to their old selves the house went back to normal, and Barbara was teleported back to Platinum Flats.

“And now another part of your prize you get your paramour back." The Cube blasts Vincent’s body and he opens his eyes.

“Not again." He grunts "I hate being killed. At this rate I'm going beat dad's record."

Bat- troll grabs the Cube. “You do what I say!"

“I think not." And he um vanished. I... Don't know if he's dead or... not. I do know the Cube disappeared too.


Vella's ring came back. She looks confused. “How come the ring beat Inertia back? I was going to slug him for that kiss. "

“Sentient being Thaddeus Thawne is deceased." The ring states.

Vella flies to where the ring said he was and comes back with his burned body. After a few minutes. Justice tells Vella "It's not your fault..."

“Yes it is I'm the one that tried to channel the Cosmic Cube energy. If he didn't try to save me he'd be alive. "

“Not your fault mine." I say.


"Huh?" she asks.

I lead this group I should ... have known that wouldn't work I'm responsible."

Iron lad yells “You’re damn right! This crap wouldn't have even happened if it wasn't for you! I knew you leading this team would end in disaster..."

Stephanie gets up in um face... plate. “You’re just saying that crap because you want to lead Stark! And you only want to do that to stroke your own ego."

"Oh you want to end up a burned corpse too Brown?" Stark ... shouts back.

“We all know Inertia did that because he wants to get in Vella's pants! He probably suspects he'll be back soon. Heck with Drgonballs and all the other ways superheroes come back he's probably right. But I'll tell you this right now I’ve known Cassandra Cain for years. I trust her to watch my back; I would actually follow her through hell. You I wouldn't follow across the street."

“Yeah. You Bat-people always stick together no surprise there." Anthony shouts. “We all know you're the Robin to her Batman if you didn't obsess over Bird Boy I'd think you two had something going."

“You’d think that because you have no friends!" Steph shoots back she picks up Gwen and says she’ll be at her mother's. It all breaks down into a bunch of arguments then everyone leaves. Except me, and Vince.

" Really don't blame your self hon ..." Vince starts.

I put my hand up. “Stop... I don't want to hear it. No lies."

He gives me this look. “Bah! I can never talk to you when you get like this! I'll come back when you're out of self pity mode." He flies away.

Later in Gotham Oracle calls me. “Hey Cassie I just wanted to see how you were doing."

“Are you um ... in the chair." I mutter.

“Yes." She begins.

"I'm sorry. I should have made the Cube give you you're legs back... you would do better..."

Oracle makes this weird noise. “Don’t you ever blame yourself for me being in this chair Cassandra! That was the Joker! Not you! And everything else was the freak with the Cube's fault! Look I know you kids went through a tragedy but really Thawne will find his way back. All of you just need to take a few days off and blow off some steam I'll tell the Big Bat you need some time. This nothing you can't fix Cass."


I don't know if I want to fix it.
