Ironboy: Fighting a superman.

It's been strange. Last thing I know I'm sacrificing myself to destroy Onslaught. Then I wake up with all these guys and girls my own age. I watch TV And I see myself as a 30 something, and I... I mean he is a total dick!

Then again why should I be surprised? This is the same man who put us through that Crossing crap. I haven't even tried to contact the Avengers, because well They are all his running buddies, and that other team wouldn't trust because I'm pretty much Tony Stark.


Now there's a blonde kid of about two or so. Just kind of running around. Spoiler's daughter I think. Too bad. Steph's kinda cute. Oh well. That Asian girl Who lives in a cave for some reason, comes up here to play with kid, and to watch after her when Spoiler's gone.


I thought that she was just came into the country at first because of he way she talks. But it turns out she was just raised weird.Also you can't hide anything from her. Like yesterday morning I checked her out when she was in this pajama thing and she turns and says. "No."

" What?"

" What you want I don't ."

" Um ok. But it's not like your going to stay with the alien kid your whole life."

She gives me this weird look. " You really are... Stark. Why can't I stay with him? He .. understands me. "


" But your young and you no what? Don't worry about it."

I still wonder about the cave thing, does she actually like living down there?


probably a good thing she didn't mention it to her alien boyfriend. He'd probably tear my head off. It still weirds me out that he, and the hot blur haired girl are Bulma's kids, and she has older ones. Then again this isn't my timeline.

Also why does the fast boy keep offering me whiskey?

I was testing out the new armor getting some of the kinks out, when The house I've been crashing at blows up I fly there, and see this guy fly off with Spoiler, he was dressd in gold , and black, and kind of reminded me of Superman.

he left coordinates of where to find him. so I called everyone else. Luckily it seems the kid was in Gotham for some reason. And Batgirl, wasn't in her cave.So the whole team goes to the coordinates sans Spoiler, who we're wanting to save.


The superman dude. ( who calls himself Black Zero. )

" Hello children. It's been a while." I've never seen this weirdo in my life . " I have a theory I need testing so the rest of you kids can just leave, but Batgirl, and Prince Vincent can stay."


" Where's Spoiler?" Batgirl demands.

" Oh she'll be safe." Zero leers. " But you have to die in her place Cassandra either you or Vincent. "

"Screw You Conner!" Vincent yells. I look at him in shock though as does Batgirl, Vella and Inertia kind of nod.

" Yeah but this guy Kon-El isn't supposed to turn to Black Zero for another ten years." Inertia shakes his head.

" yeah well Thad." Vela starts " This isn't our Conner, Probably the one you were talking about isn't either. His Ki is the same. But there's a small difference like a clone or someone from another universe. "

" I am from the future of this Universe!" Zero shouts. " I am Kon-El and your deaths!"

" Vella looks at him and stats thinking . " No. No your not. You are so totally a different person. Just by a small amount."

" Enough of you lies! I must kill either Cassandra Cain, or Vincent Briefs or both That way their children will not defeat me in the future!"

Vincent punched him in the face. He grabs the half alien's throat. And starts squeezing. Batgirl tosses a green batarng that starts hurting the weirdo. While Inertia runs away.

I Start zapping the loser With repulsors while he's recovering from the Krytoniarang. He pulls it out of his shoulder and tosses it away. I power up am weapon. Getting ready to take him down.

After he throws the K -arang away. He starts pounding his fists on Vincent. Vella knocks him off, but is greeted with Heatvison I fly into him at full speed. My punches seem to annoy him. he grabs me by the arm. " Seriously what did you think you were gonna do Iron man rip off?"


I check the armor's computer. The weapon is ready. My chest laser was changing it's frequency to to Krypotnite and I blast him in the face. " I was going to do this!" I yell.

While he's on the knees Batgirl commands " Vincent Vella Now!"

The twins go into this pose " Double Final Flash!" The blasts mess up my on board sensors. when they reboot I see nothing but smoke. When it clears I see Black zero hurt but not defeated before I can zap him with more Kryptonite he just points at me and my armor falls apart.


He freezes Vella with his breathe, and starts trying to boil Vincent with his vision powers. then all the sudden a green blur slams into him " HEY PUNK ASS ! " Inertia shouts " Didja know the closer something gets to the speed of light the more mass it picks up? "



So he didn't run away he was accelerating. Again, again he runs away and comes back faster hitting Zero harder. He kept doing it over and over unil something weird happened he stated baling about the "Speed Force" , and how it was calling to him.

While he tried to slow down Black Zero blasts him with TK yelling "Touch down!"


All the sudden Spoiler pos up " Sorry I'm late guys and gals. I had to get dropped off by the real Kon-El." She tosses this thing at Zero that starts blasting out all the sonics, Vincent ,Vella, and Black Zero were the worst affected.

Though it hut all of us. Steph grunts holding her ears. " I think Bulma needs to give us earplugs for those things.


Zero recovers way too soon for everyone's tastes. he picks up Vincent. " Say good night sweet prince. "

Batgirl jumps at him wearing these weird gloves . Zero doges, and lifts her up by the arms. " Well I guess the two of you can die together. Just like an old romantic tragedy."

Damn it! And the rest of us are too messed up to much about it Black Zero.

Vince : People keep interuppting us!

I convinced the rest of the team to let me and Cass have the House to ourselves. The Question luckily had some investigation thing. To Do. Because I'm not sure I could actually get him out of the house normally.

I mean yeah I could physically. but then he'd be wandering around the hose and breaking in and singing pop music. Not exactly a good setting for the "mood". Man I hate this that dad is sending me and Vella to Xavier's school. I dunno how much I'll actually be seeing of my girlfriend when we're not fighting some menace or something.

Then when we where getting somewhere Batman shows up yells at us both, tries to hit me, shouts at Cass. They fight for a few minutes and I mean she tries to punch or kick him and he blocks for about five minutes.


" Finally Bats shoots us both with this weird a miniature version of Mom's Skrull transforming device. "Hnh." He he states when neither one of us transforms. Then he glares at me. "Tell Gohan and Question I want to talk to them when they return. "


So after the jerk leaves. Cass just kind of stares like she's shell shocked. I start to leave to go back home.She grabs me. " No Don't leave... He can't tell me what to do anymore... I'm not in his city.. and he can't get used to that."

Finally after she calms down. We start kissing a there's a knock on the door we ignore it as we strip but then Robin and some white haired girl with an eye patch freaking break in. Cassandra gets her shirt back on quickly.

Me on the other hand am not amused.


Robin gives us this strange look. That I can't really read. I bet Cass can but I'm too pissed to care. " What the when people don't answer you break in ?"

Eye patch girl was laughing I could smell alcohol on her breathe. " Looks like Bat Bitch is human after all!"


" What did you call her?" I growl.

" Vincent. Calm down. We only want to know where Inertia is. " Robin says.

" I don't know, and I don't care. Go away. "

Eye patch girl gets all pissy. " If your hiding him I'll rip your eyes out !" She puts a sword in my face I break it with a my pinkie finger.

" I doubt it. Your power level is pathetic. " I state the truth and she cusses me out. " Who are you exactly?" I ask in between listening to her meaningless threats.

" Some girl I beat." Cass shrugs.

" Hey we're even I was drugged when you beat me !" White Hair protests.

" Deathstroke is a threat to me ... your not. " Cass smiles for a second. " Now go away... Thaddeus is not here." She turns her back on Eye patch girl and walks As if inviting her to attack. Tim Stops her. from actually doing so.

" Thanks for showing us your team's version of Wolverine Robin. That was funny. but you see we had plans tonight. So If you'd leave... '

She punches me and nearly breaks her hand on my jaw. " That was rather useless. " I laugh. " And unlike your team's resident power house, green rocks don't do a thing to me."

" Well then we'll just sic Wondergirl on you, she's stronger than Kon." She grins.

" I take it you can't read power levels." I smirk.


" What's that supposed to mean?" She looks confused.

" Well. Let's just say That clone idiot has been taught by his father to constantly hold back. My father taught me to go all out. Siccing anybody on me especially someone who's only half as powerful as I am would be a mistake. "

Tim gets between us, " We're not here to fight! We just want an apology for something Inertia did to Rose."

I couldn't help but laugh at that. " Yeah good luck with that Robin. He'd just laugh in your faces, and something worse to you, I think you should let it go 'Rose'. My guess is you weren't even the real target, but somehow Bart Allen was. "


Robin calmly responds " You can find his ki right? Tell us where he is. "

I close my eyes for a second, two ki's very similar keep popping up all over the planet. Paris, Russia, California, and they won't stay in one place long enough for me to tell which one is Thaddeus, and which one is Bart. "Too had to pinpoint, and your little friend Kid Flash's is too close to him in ki signatures, it makes it hard."


" Your trying to protect him." Rose accuses.


" I don't need protection doll." He just kind of shows up all of the sudden. "As for an apology forget it! Kind of ignored The cussing girl and and speeds out of her way over and over as she tries to skewer him.

Rose chased Inertia out of the lawn He kept stopping in front of her then speeding off. Robin was looking like he was fighting a massive headache. I know how feels.


The next morning, I know I'm going to get grounded because I ended up sending the night here oh well that sucks. as i eat breakfast I think I see some little blonde kid run by with my corner of my eye... Nah. Couldn't be. I must need more sleep.Heh Cass wouldn't let me last night.

Inertia: Time and space trippin'

Where does freakin' Spoiler get off sayin' anything to me about anything? I'm a sprockin' Flash. Barry frigging Allen is my grandfather! And I get a lecture in heroism from from a girl who at best is a comedy relief, at worst a love interest to to a sidekick. For Grife's sake!


Yeah so what if I spent most of my life as a "super villain". I'm her teammate now, and if she wants me to watch her back she'd better respect me.Oh well at I sorta get along with every one else here. Vince is okay a little high strung. Batgirl, Well she's actually trusts me, The body reading thing gets through the crap real quick.


Iron boy. Well I 'd like to break that pretty boy's teeth. But I should do something even worse. I should introduce him to booze , and late nature take it's course.

Vella, Well She told me she wanted to be just friends. I asked. " Why so ya can bang Iron Boy?"

" No I don't want a relationship with anyone I just want to you know have fun, and fight and not have to worry about the drama. " .

I grin " What kind of fun we talkin' about?"

" Not that kind future boy."

" So when ya want to to try it all out ya think maybe.. "

She shrugs " I dunno maybe. We'll see Thad."


So why am I still hanging around here even though Faceless thinks I'm the second coming of evil. Well there is the fun of watching him argue with the Great saiya how did the hell did this guy ever get laid man.

No but seriously where else am I gonna go? Not back to the future and listen to grandpa Thawne drone on , and on about how the "Allens must be destroyed. Blah blah blah. " Yeah his daughter obviously didn't think so or me and Bart wouldn't be here.

The Rouges? Hell no. They spend all their time sniffin' coke and braggin " One day I will kill the Flash!" yeah I don't think so turtle man or whatever that one guy's name was.

Ya know what I figured out in my short time with the Rouges? Besides drugs are bad for you. That The life of a super villain goes like so: You fight your chosen hero like 50 billion times get your ass handed to you go to jail, escape the whole damn cycle begins all over again.

That and I'm a little scared of Wally West . Wanna know why? OK after the whole Black Plague thing, Vella and Vincent were telling me about their mom's dimensional portal. I told them I could do the same thing with vibrating.

They bet me I couldn't I showed them by doin' it. me, Iron boy, Vince, Vella, Spoiler and Batgirl we all end up in this ssweeet Universe Where their versions of Spoiler , and Batgirl were makin' out it was awesome!



What was even better was our Spoiler threw up in her mask Bwhahahahahahaha! Poor Batgirl looked like she was going o be sick as well. But here's the weird thing Vincent started growling like a damn gorilla. I thought he liked what he saw until he put his hand up and started to blast at the alternate Spoiler.

Iron boy , and Vella had to pull him down, I stole his speed to help out and vibrated us to another universe. Not ours. It was weird i was seein' me and the Rouges beat the hell outta Bart. I dunno part of me liked but another part..part felt sad. That's weird. I mean my whole goal was to kill the guy, and here i was wacthin' it , and I felt ... cold. Cold and sick to my stomach.

I ran. I ran from it all. I mean I thought about the couple of times I ran into Kid Flash. Man. I hadn't actually tried to kill him since the whole trappin' Max Mercury in the Speed Force thing.


When I was in Titan's East I fought him but never tried to kill Hell we raced at one point it was ... fun. Little jerk even tried to save my skin when we took on the White Martian. I think our enemy thing just became a rivalry somewhere down the line. I don't know.


I kept beating myself up over it telling my self I didn't deserve the name Thawne. My whole point for existing was to kill Bart Allen, and If I can't stand to watch an alternate version of myself do that., what the hell good am I? I mean look at this I'm hanging around superheroes.


I ran back to the body. My Teammates watched me. as I said "I'm sorry." Grife! I'm weak! I tracked down my other self, and found him caught by the Flash.


That wasn't Bart. That was Wally. I followed as he took him to the Flash Museum. Then I watched as wally sucked out all the speed from the other me, turning him into a living statue.

So this is where it leads huh? All the hatred. Is this what could happen to me if I try to kill the Bart of my universe.Then again if I did take him down, what would I have left I mean I was cloned for that purpose what then? And why did I freak out when I saw Bart die?

I just stared at myself for what I guess was minute but to a speedster felt like hours. A hand comes up on my shoulder. "WALLYIHADNOTHINGTODOWITHIT! I"MNOT THESAMEINERTIA!"

" Calm Down." It was Vella. " I know your not that monster. "

" Nah. But I'm supposed to be that's what I was made for."

I watching the rest of my team gather around the frozen me. " This is what i want to do to you Inertia!" Spoiler shouted kicking him in the groin.

Vince got an evil look on his face and dressed him up as a clown at super speed. Iron boy. just sat there. " Hey I know what it's like to have an evil version of me running around."

" Whatever Let's change the subject. So Vince what was with your freak out with the make out back there?"

" I don't know." He looks embarrassed. " I guess I the only person i want kissing Cass is me."


" Ya ain't dating all the Cass Cains in the Multiverse you know."

Then And there i decided something I won't kill Kid Flash . Instead I will keep the rivalry going.

I found that no one is in Titan's Tower. Except for Starbucks losers. I was going to attack them as ....

Kid Flash I look just like him . Since I'm cloned from him. and these loser are gonna think I am him. I didn't nothing to bad just threw cakes in people's faces and so on. I also Remember that at one tie Bart had a thing for Ravager, So I left picture of myself dressed as him in like beef cake poses and wrote a letter in his handwriting that about How He loved her, That should do two things, get her mad at him, and break up him and that Juctice girl. Yeah this is more fun messing up his life , than killing him Hahahahahahaha!

So Question sent us to attack Black Plague's Mansion eh. And now weird demons villains and other things are attacking us. Good I need an interesting fight. I see that thing Bloodscream waiting for me.

" Yeah you weirdo! But this time I got these metal knuckles , and guess what they were My grandma you know former Queen of saiyans ordered these made for me , by a Kree. So you know what that mean?"

" These are metal not made by man!" I smirk. I punch him in the jaw it and it breaks normally. I slam him around. Feeling pretty good that I got him back for nearly killing me. I had to think about it did I want to to finish this vampire thing? Or not.


Instead I looked around to see if any of my team mates needed help. My sister Was Cutting a swathe through the villains Doing the dad smirk. Ha! If they could see her , The rumors of her not being dad's would end. Well that and we both have his smell, and ki more similar to him than any other saiyan.

So yeah just because Vella's fun loving and not a brutal killer. Doesn't mean she's not Dad's. Hell I don't think any of us act exactly like him, Well maybe Cabain. Oh well usually when I hear that rumor, I punch those people in the face.

Sorry Connor Hawke, But I'm not sorry for the second punch you got when I you hit on Cass. Just because your that perv Green Arrow's kid doesn't mean you have to act like him.

Ok I went off on a tangent. Inertia needed nothing. I mean the villains couldn't even get close. He was laughing at them and I think he crippled a few when when he used his speed to create a tornado, then let them drop from air.

Cass was being Cass beating up anything in her way If I helped her she would just get mad, so unless she got in trouble, I'll just leave her alone. Now I got to see if well Spoiler is actually ok for once. And the Question, kind of vanished .


This weird dude shot some thing at Steph I don't know it was black I flew in front of it shoving her out of the way. " Farewell children have fun in the dark dimension! " The dude. shouts


Next thing I know it's all black. And I hear sobbing. Some dude with a black Skull for a face walks by me with a drill. The hell? Who's this guy the Black Skull? I Hear A girl Say" Please.. I'll tell you anything Just don't hurt me anymore."

I took me a minute to to recognize Steph What the hell is this? Then I thought. " Oh hell this must be how she died." But it was all an illusion. I mean the skull guy had no ki. " Hey!Girl snap out of it! this isn't real!" I shout.

Finally it all vanishes but Skull man who she starts punching before he's gone . " Feel better now?" I ask.

" Go to hell." She grumbles.

" Hey what did I do?" I shout.

" Supergirl!" She spits.

I growl. " Cass got over it. Why can't you?"

" because she really doesn't know anything about relationships, once a cheater always a cheater. "


Oh Why do I have to constantly defend my self? " One ! we weren't dating at the time! She was just hanging around! Two: I didn't know anything about relation ships either! I'm less than a year old give me a break!


She starts laughing. "Seriously? I thought that was some kind of weird joke."

" Yeah it was all programmed in Vella's brains by an alien warlord. He was going to use us as weapons against dad, But we were growing quicker than normal any way.. long story."

" Yeah." I answer, and Frieza put a lot of Martial arts knowledge into our brains. "

" Ok Gary Sue." What does she mean by that? " My God. it's like you were made for her. Except for the whole you know you can read, and build technology and stuff. "

" Okay. Sure what ever. Your still hung up on Robin aren't you?"

" It's... complicated." Well if the same thing had happened to you and , when you came back you found out Cass had moved on wouldn't you be a little weird about it?"

She shrugs. and Next thing I Hear "GIVE THEM BACK!"

The dark place that made Steph's fears or worst memories come to life whatever Fades ( you know it's weird Nothing like that happened to me .. maybe because I don't have that many traumas? Or maybe it's something to do with my weird half saiyan brain? Whatever it was it was gone, And we see Batgirl doing something I don't think either of us have seen before. Batgirl screaming "GIVE THEM BACK!" While beating on the dark dimension guy.


" Hey Babe it's alright We're back!" I put my hands on her shoulders. She turns around and hugs us both. Inertia is running around going "Manyoushouldaseen it!Shewentbezerkwhenyouvanished andIdon'tthinkthatguyisgoingto beeatingsolidfoodforawhilenow.IseewhySladegaveherthatdrug."

What sucked was while we all had the reunion hug the mob guys surrounded us. Then this laser blast knocked a bunch away. I though I was going to look up and see Vell, but it was Iron Man?

" Why is Tony Stark helping us? Shouldn't he be trying to you know recruit us or put us in prison? Or something?" Vella asks after she kind of floats into near us.

"Please call me Anthony." His electronic voice pleads. " I don't want to be confused with that bastard Iron man. Better yet call me Iron Boy! Since you save me from these nimrods. I thought I'd help you out. It took me a while to build this armor. Am I too late?"


" No just in time." Vella smiles. " Though if you don't want people to confuse you for Iron man you may want to change that armor some."

Well well looks like we have a new member.

Spoiler: I hate the Question, Vincent, and Inertia.

Ok First he comes up with the dumb thing " Who am I?" What like I'm not supposed to know who I am? Maybe because he wears a faceless Mask he really has no identity and thinks everyone else doesn't have one? Or he's been sniffing that gas that sticks his mask to his face too long.

So after the Teenage Tony Stark Passed out Question Gets Inertia Vincent , and Vella to use their speed powers to read all the info and give what Vincent Valentine wants to him.

And we trust this vampire wanna be why? Another thing I don't like about The man with no face. He doesn't tell everything he knows until he thinks it's important. Jerk. I think him and Batman Went to the same Superhero school .


Well any way he Inertia finds the info, and gives it to Question. ( Oh and Thaddeus? Don't think I didn't see you vibrating into the bathroom while I was taking a shower pervert. )


Oh and I bet everyone noticed that Question took pictures of the info before he gave it to Valentine. " Well Mr. Valentine, I suppose you have guessed We are sort of ... um concerned citizens against crime. If you need our help Go to WSST television station in West City and ask for the reporter Vic Sage. I've given him quite a few scoops over the years. He owes me. "

I roll my eyes. And turn over to see Cass putting her arms around Vincent Briefs. Now that is so weird. Before all of this She never even really had an idea of ownership, and all the sudden Vincent is "her" boy.

Ok yeah I missed a lot of their relationship being dead and all. But I have some concerns. I call " Vincent I want to talk to you!" Both Valentine , and Briefs turn. " Um the the half alien."


" If you want to rape the the Tony Stark Clone...." he starts with that damn arrogant smirk.

" Shut up you idiot!"I scold before he starts to remind me he's a genius.
" OK . Fine your brilliant but but you still haven't learned everything, so you have telepathic powers right?"


" I guess I suck at using them." he shrugs. " why?"


" Are you using them to get Cass to love you?"

" What? Are you insane?" He snorts at me.

" Well your dad went off the deep end, and announced to everyone he was going to cause destruction to the Skrulls."

He gets in my face and growls. I try to act like I'm not afraid but Ive seen this guy fight Kon-El to a stand still. " Get this straight Spoiler! The skrulls committed an act of war killing and taking the place of saiyans! Yeah he went to even the score, and show them you don't mess with us. But You should know this since my parents let you stay in our house for a little while My Dad only pretends to be evil or insane to intimidate his enemies. He's not though. The world will never trust him he's a hero dammit!"

He walks away and Vella gives me a glare. yeah So when Vaelntine separated from us, Cass wouldn't let me ride back on the motorcycle with her. I had to ride back in The Question's car joy.

So Tony Stark Junior wakes up and asks about us. " The last thing I remember was fighting Onslaught with the Avengers and Fantastic Four."

" That makes no sense."I state. " Tony Stark claims to have the memories of the teen Tony."


" It makes an odd kind of sense ." The Question starts. " A is always A ." What the hell does that have to do with anything? " Alexander Luthor brought back many Universes that were folded into ours, he may have brought one back where the young Tony Stark existed ,and did not merge with the Tony Stark we know now. When you were stuck here. You took on the memories of "our" teen Tony. As the Universe tried to repair itself from Luthor's meddling. "

Another crackpot theory everyone! Stark stares. "Okaaay. So I tore up that machine before I could get what it was. did you guys get an idea what it was?"

I dodge it just in time but I'm hurt.


She gabs Me and .. crushes me I kick her several places, until I kick her tail her body goes.. into... spasms? Yes that's the word . I grab her tail.. and she falls down.

" Kill me." She gasps.

Sometimes our older sister is a little dense.

We had planned to get Inertia back. ( Not sure why.) When he popped up ok. Talking about White martians, and giving the Question some papers, and Cass something.

After resting for a day, I thought maybe I should just quit I let that Bloodscream guy completely get the drop on me. Besides Vella can do everything I can do. I doubt those guys really need two saiyans. I fly over to the base/house whatever.

I laugh a bit and walk towards the door that's leads to Cass' cave. I think I'll actually miss Vic. He's crazy but a good kind of crazy.

Stepahanie gets in face. " Cass wants you to meet her in her cave. "



" Yeah I kind of wanted to find her anyway...." I start.

" You know she's my best friend right? " Steph weirdly utters. " And you know if you hurt her I'll a way to hurt you."

" Yeah. I know take care of her ok?"

I think she was about to say something else but just got out of my way. I sense Cass' ki but don't see her. Maybe it's better if I don't see her. " Cass I shouldn't stay here and do this team thing. I almost died when that vampire thing got me."
